ARMAT Ballistic Aramid
ARMAT manufactures the technologically superior ABA. This is our Uni-Directional Aramid panel for armor applications consisting of a flexible material that is both lightweight and incredibly strong. ABA is made in a Uni-Directional thermoplastic matrix to provide a tension free laminate capable of absorbing more energy than similar woven products. This solution is lightweight and robust, with strength five times higher than steel on an equal weight basis.

ARMAT flexible Uni-Directional ballistic Aramid unique design eliminates stress junctions, common on woven fabric systems, which allows the fabric to absorb more impact energy. This unique design feature makes our ballistic solution more efficient in its capability to withstand the bullet kinetic energy. All ARMAT ABA solutions are tested and certified to the NIJ, UL and CEN standards by H.P. White Laboratories.
